Dr Saud bin Mohammed Al – Sati has worked with the Foreign Office of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for over two decades. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Saudi Arabia from the King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, after which he was appointed as an attaché to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1989. During his position as the Vice Consul at the Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in Los Angeles, USA he went on to achieve a dual Master's degree in Public Administration (1993) and Political Science (1994) from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He completed his PhD in International Relations from the same university in 1998. He served as the First Secretary at the General Department for Western Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the 2000s, he held various positions in the countries of Egypt, United Kingdom and the United States. He has been serving in India since January 2012, as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Throughout his career he has participated in various international platforms and forums including Davos Economic Conference in Switzerland, Tallberg Forum in Sweden, Wilton Park in Britain, GCC th European Dialogue Conference at Menton in France and 6 Heart of Asia Ministerial Conference in Amritsar, India. He is married and has three children. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
