Mr. Dhruva Jaishankar is Fellow for Foreign Policy at Brookings India. He was previously a Transatlantic Fellow and program officer for Asia at the German Marshall Fund in Washington, a research assistant with the Brookings Institution, and a news writer and reporter for CNN-IBN television in New Delhi. He has been a Visiting Fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies in Singapore and a Brent Scowcroft Award Fellow with the Aspen Strategy Group. Jaishankar is a regular contributor to the Indian and international media, including to The Indian Express, Foreign Policy, and The Times of India. He holds a bachelor's degree in history and classics from Macalester College, and a master's degree in security studies from Georgetown University
