Application Process

For M.A (DLB)

Applicants to the M.A. (DLB) at JSIA must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.E., B.Tech., B.B.A., LL.B., M.B.B.S., etc.) from any recognised university. Students completing their Bachelor’s degree in 2017 can also apply. This course is open to students from all disciplines: there are no pre-requisites in terms of the courses undertaken at the Bachelor’s level. There is no maximum age for applicants to the M.A. (DLB) programme. All applicants need to fill the M.A. (DLB) admissions form and pay an application fee. Both can be done through the JSIA website at http://www.jgu.edu.in/admissions/jsiaadmissions/. Following this, entrance examinations will be held on a rolling basis starting in February 2017. The entrance exam conducted online tests students’ ability for critical and analytical thinking, and general knowledge of international affairs. Early applicants will be given receive priority in receiving scholarships.

For B.A GA 

Applicants to the B.A. (Hons.) (G.A.) at JSIA must have successfully passed the examination at the 10+2 level of schooling or its equivalent. Students who completed 10+2 in 2016 can also apply. This course is open to students from any stream including Arts, Commerce, Science etc. All applicants should fill the B.A. (Hons.) (G.A.) admissions form and register for mandatory Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test (JSAT). Both can be done through the JSIA website at http://www.jgu.edu.in/admissions/jsiaadmissions/. Applicants must take the JSAT conducted by Pearson VUE at various centres and obtain the requisite score. Candidates having valid scores in SAT/ACT are exempted from giving a JSAT score.

Fee & Financial Aid

Haryana Domicile Scholarship: Meritorious Haryana domicile students are eligible for a full or partial fee concession as per the Haryana Government Universities Act.

Merit-Based Scholarships: The Merit-based scholarships are granted to students with high levels of academic and extra-curricular accomplishments.

Students from SC/ST/OBC categories as well as differently abled students are especially encouraged to apply for admissions and scholarships at JGU. Students are not eligible to receive multiple scholarships / fee concessions and all scholarships and fellowships are subject to review.
